Chandelier Garnier
This chandelier, with twenty-eight lights, is inspired by the lace chandeliers that appeared in the 18th century, examples of which can be found in the castle of Fontainebleau or in the Trianon (like the chandelier of Benjamin Ladouèpe de Fougerais of 1809).
It is composed of a central drum dressed in glass beads at the base of which the light arms decorated with rosettes leave.
The arms support a flower-shaped cup in the centre of which a finely chopped cup shatters.
The arms also have in their center and around the cups crystal diamond shaped..
An alternation of chains and laces link these arms to the ornamental floor which overlooks the whole, composed of small arms while carrying the pendants.
The set, in the form of a pyramid, cleverly mixes the golden finish with the transparency of the crystals that mask the frame.
