Chandelier Garnier
This chandelier, with its eighteen lights, is inspired by the laced chandeliers that appeared in the 18th century, examples of which can be found in the castle of Fontainebleau or in the Trianon (like the chandelier of Benjamin Ladouèpe de Fougerais of 1809).
It is composed of a central drum dressed in glass beads at the base of which the light arms decorated with rosettes leave.
The arms support a flower-shaped cup in the centre of which a finely chopped cup shatters.
The arms also carry diamond-shaped crystal table in the centre and edges.
An alternation of chains and laces link these arms to the ornamental floor which overlooks the set, composed of small arms while carrying the pendants.
The whole, in the form of a pyramid, cleverly mixes the golden finish with the transparency of the crystals that mask the frame.
